The wait for the most awaited news of the year is finally over as Indian skipper Virat Kohli and bollywood actress Anushka Sharma finally tied the knot in a private ceremony in Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany, Italy on Monday. The newly wedded couple took to twitter on Monday evening to share the big news along with a message for their fans and loved ones thus putting an end to all rumors. The wedding was attended only by close family members and a few friends as the couple wished their wedding to be a private affair.
The couple look really adorable in their first post wedding photos with Virat Kohli looking dapper as always in his ivory sherwani and Anushka in her pastel coloured lehenga designed by her designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Here is what Virat Kohli tweeted :

Anushka Sharma also shared the same note alongwith a different picture from the auspicious ceremony.

The rumors of their marriage were raised after the couple got photographed in the airports of Delhi and Mumbai alongwith their families and soon the talks of them heading to Italy for the grand evening came to surface. After the couple made the news official on twitter, the whole world seems to be celebrating their marriage which undoubtedly is the biggest marriage of the year. From cricketers to bollywood stars, every great personality took to their official twitter handle to wish the newly wedded couple a happy married life.
The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on 26th December. The couple will now be travelling to South Africa where Virat will be seen preparing for the South Africa and Anushka will be spending the new year’s eve with him before returning in the first week of January to begin the next schedule of Anand L Rai’s film with Shah Rukh Khan in Mumbai.
